this job is everything to me and i don’t take the opportunity of being invited into your story lightly

i view it as committing to you as a friend and trusting that you will trust me. that relationship allows each of us to be in the present moment, allowing you to enjoy it and allowing me to document it

i document the in-between moments that will allow you to remember the feeling of the moment

i promise to share my authentic self with you + invite you to do the same. i promise to make a bigger fool of myself in public to distract attention if you’re uncomfortable + i promise to capture your story in a way that feels like you

ways i like to describe my   photography:

working together shouldn’t be a transaction, i want it to be a relationship

i don’t make moments happen unnaturally, i want to create space and an atmosphere that allows them to occur organically and comfortably

i am a lover of all things

i spend my little to no free time baking, taking photos of those i love, + driving by myself with music blasting and the windows down

if i show up to your photoshoot with a step ladder, it is only because i stand at a whole 5' 1" tall. but don’t worry, i'll do what i need to do to get the angle. that usually ends up with me either climbing on things or crouching down and looking like an out of shape acrobat (see below)

i have a dog, linus and am wildly obsessed with animals. in the future, i want to live on lots of land and have chickens and cows and goats and live a slow and quiet life

i like to get to know people authentically and deeply. that’s what makes this job so rewarding — i get to genuinely connect with people on the daily + create meaningful + lasting relationships
